Ogres vs Trolls is a blog dedicated to helping amateur fantasy writers think of new and interesting ways to incorporate myth, legends, and superstitions into their work. I don’t pretend to be an expert, or that my way is the only way; the goal of this blog is to inspire and inform, not to dictate how people should write. To learn more about where the title came from, and about the scope of the blog in general, here is a handy link. New articles are posted as I find interesting things to share with you.

My handle is Fakefaux, and I am myself an amateur fantasy writer, as well as an avid fan of monsters and myths, and a useless drain on society who thought graduating in history was a good idea. If you ever want to know where I found a particular piece of information, or if you have some good books on myth and legend you’d like to share, feel free to contact me. I can be reached at ogresvstrolls@gmail.com.
